Aimed at raising its sales figures in India, Japanese car maker Mitsubishi has officially announced the introduction of its EVOLUTION series in the country. The Mitsubishi EVOLUTION series is a top tier range of cars whose engines can be cranked up to churn a beastly 410 HP. While the officially sold cars in the EVOLUTION series have a maximum power of 250 horsepower, there are several instances where the tuning up has actually been done to realize the maximum.

With the introduction of the EVO series, Mitsubishi is also planning to upgrade its hot selling Pajero in India. Mitsubishi has joined hands with HM in a bid to get useful technical assistance from the car maker. HM’s Vice President, Vijay Kumar has announced an ambitious target of annual sales of 10,000 units for this fiscal as against a measly 2,200 units that were sold in the previous fiscal year.
